Rich, toasty and nutty. Pressed slowly from certified organic hazelnuts on our family farm in Portarlington, then settled and bottled by hand. Nothing filtered out, nothing added.
Most hazelnut oil on Irish shelves is imported, refined and filtered until very little of the nut is left. Ours is pressed at low temperature from certified organic hazelnuts, left to settle naturally and bottled by hand, so it keeps its full flavour, colour and nutrients. A little sediment in the bottle is the sign it has been done properly.
Use it cold: dressings, dips, drizzled over porridge, yoghurt, roast veg, pasta or ice cream, and in brownies and banana bread in place of butter. Not for frying.
Ingredients: 100% certified organic hazelnuts.
Allergens: Contains hazelnuts (tree nuts). May contain traces of other nuts.

Supermarket nut oils are refined at high heat and filtered clear, which is why they taste of very little. We press certified organic nuts and seeds at low temperature, let the oil settle naturally for days, then bottle it by hand in small batches on the farm.
What you get is the full flavour of the nut, the colour, and the vitamin E and good fats that refining strips out.
Recipes from our own kitchen, all made with this oil.
All pressed on the farm from certified organic seeds and nuts.

Yes, for cold and low-heat cooking. It is ideal for dressings, dips, baking and finishing dishes. Do not use it for deep frying or high-heat searing, as the heat destroys the flavour and nutrients.
Rich, toasty and nutty, like fresh roasted hazelnuts, with a smooth, slightly sweet finish.
Unopened, up to 12 months in a cool dark cupboard. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and use within about 3 months.
Because we do not filter our oil. The fine sediment is natural hazelnut particles and carries flavour. Shake gently or leave it to settle, whichever you prefer.
Yes. It is certified organic by the Irish Organic Association and cold pressed and bottled by hand on our family farm in Portarlington, Co. Laois.
Cold pressed oil is squeezed from the nut at low temperature with no chemicals, so it keeps its vitamins, antioxidants and flavour. Refined oil is heated and treated, giving a neutral, bland oil with far fewer nutrients.
