1. Heat the ÍON Sunflower oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, celery, and carrot, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the beef and pork mince to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
3. Stir in the ÍON Oil Organic Pizza & Pasta Mix and cook for another 2 minutes to elevate the flavours with this perfect blend of basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, marjoram, salt, tomato, pepper, garlic.
4. Pour in the red wine and simmer until reduced by half, about 5 minutes.
5. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste to the pot, stirring well to combine. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
6. Stir in the milk and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
7. While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
8. Serve the spaghetti bolognese hot, topped with the sauce, fresh basil leaves, and grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
