Recipe Description

Enjoy our quick, delicious Cranberry & Mandarin Sauce, made with our organic fruit salad mix. A perfect blend of tart and sweet, it’s an easy way to add a gourmet touch to your meals

Steps

1. Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or debris.
2. In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, mandarin juice, diced mandarin peel, caster sugar, and ÍON Oil Fruit Salad Organic Mix.
3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. As the cranberries cook, they will begin to burst and release their juices, thickening the sauce.
5. Taste the sauce and adjust the sweetness with a drizzle of honey if desired.
6. Once the cranberries have softened and the sauce has thickened to your liking, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
7. Transfer the cranberry sauce to clean, sterilized jars and seal tightly.
8. Allow the cranberry sauce to cool completely before refrigerating.
